Athens Community Council on Aging's History of the Station collection
Documents pertaining to the Athens Community Council on Aging’s participation in the Grassroots Arts Program, which led to the creation of The History of the Station, an oral history of the railroad station formerly located on Hoy Street. The Council attained ownership of the building in 1987 and restored it to use as their headquarters.

Ethel T. Chaffin papers

Chaffin who earned a Master of Arts degree at the University of Georgia in dance and theatre history in 1982 and contributed heavily to the work of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation. Includes her thesis notes and research on Athens theatrical history and preservation of local landmarks, including Seney-Stovall Chapel.
Moore's Ford Memorial Committee collection
The collection pertains to the Moore’s Ford Memorial Committee, which operated in Clarke, Oconee, and Walton counties from 1997 to 2004 in response to renewed interest in the 1946 Moore’s Ford lynching. The collection contains meeting minutes and agendas that detail Committee efforts such as annual scholarships and a memorial service for the victims of the lynching; and documents pertaining to the Georgia Historical Society marker at the location of the lynching.
