Biographical / Historical
As noted above, the source of these photographs is unknown. The photographs depict houses and trees in Athens, with the original accession form providing the date of creation as 1958; because of the problematic nature of this form—explained above—this date cannot be accepted with confidence. The collection title (Towards a History of Athens, Georgia) provided in the accession form indicates a project of broad scope. Given the small size of the collection, the original compiler may have intended to include other materials.
