Reflecting, Sharing, Learning Vietnam Veteran Interview series
Content Description
The RSL Vietnam Veteran Interview series includes 15 interviews with Athens, Georgia, community members who served in the military during the Vietnam War (1961-1975). The interviews, conducted by Mary Kay Mitchell from the Lyndon House Arts Center, were recorded in 2012 and 2013. The videos range between 14 to 22 minutes and are located on the ACCL YouTube Channel, @acclibrary. In the interviews, veterans discuss their memories of service during the war, their roles and duties in the military, their transitions back to America after the completion of their service, and the influence of the war on their personal and professional lives.
The videos included in this series were made by The Boomers, a community of Athenians connected through the webpage www.boomersinathens.org.
