Scope and Contents
The materials originally came in a cardboard binder, the metal rings of which have been removed, and a bound journal. They consist of member lists, meeting notes, and correspondence. Some loose notes found in the journal were removed and placed in their own folder. Some of the documents pertain to the Women's Auxiliary to the Medical Association of Georgia.

Biographical / Historical
The Women's Auxiliary to the Medical Association of Clarke County (originally the Medical Society of Clarke County) was organized by Paul Holliday at her Athens home on March 13, 1925. The purpose of the Auxiliary was to connect the medical profession to various women's organizations and promote activities among the families of doctors and other medical professionals.
