Northeast Georgia places of worship collection

Arranged alphabetically by name of church or similar institution (with the exception of later additions at the end), the contents of any given folder vary. A small number of these churches and a synagogue were profiled in the Genealogical Society’s newsletter. In some cases, the only documentation about a church comes from the newsletters; photocopies of these materials have been added by Heritage Room staff.

The following folders contain reproductions of materials, so the dates noted for them, especially older dates, may not refer to original documents.
