This collection has no restrictions. This collection is open to the public. Library policy on photography and photocopying will apply. Advance notice may be required. Apply in the Heritage Room for access. The exception is the Order of the Eastern Star collection, the directories included in which list the personal addresses and phone numbers of members. These directories are not available to the public.

Biographical / Historical

The Nicholson House bed-and-breakfast was open during the 1990s and 2000s; its name in later years changed to Grand Oaks Manor. The house is extant but is currently a private residence. The materials in the collection were created during the process of Jefferson Road in this part of town expanding from two lanes to four.
