Julia Pope Moss collection, 1885-1902
Scope and Contents
Seven notebooks. Four of them are "The Model Sunday School Teachers' Class and Guidebook," published by M.E. Church, South, one of which is dated 1902, all four signed by Moss. All of them seem to contain Sunday-school attendance records, three for Class 4 at the First Methodist Church, one for Class 3. One notebook is a Ronald Press Company publication signed by a Mr. Carter; another is a "Workmen's Monthly Time Books" (no publication information); and the final one is a Teacher's Pocket Record published by A.S. Barnes and Company. The Workmen's and Barnes notebooks also appear to consist of school teacher's daily logs, the former with one page dated 1893, the latter with dates spanning 1885-1887.
