This collection has no restrictions. This collection is open to the public. Library policy on photography and photocopying will apply. Advance notice may be required. Apply in the Heritage Room for access. The exception is the Order of the Eastern Star collection, the directories included in which list the personal addresses and phone numbers of members. These directories are not available to the public.

Biographical / Historical

Mary Elizabeth Gerdine was born June 16, 1884 in Athens, Georgia to Dr. John and Susan Gerdine. She was a teacher in the public schools and never married. She died May 12, 1968.
