The issue includes articles about Mark Maxwell, R.E.M., Jay Smith, and Widespread Panic, a column by Terry Wilkinson, a review of Neil Young's album Freedom, and regular features of the publication: Editor's Hole, Voices, Classifieds, Poster of the Week, Video Bites, Classic City Screens (movie listings), and Off the Wall (featuring a poem, "Off the Wall," by Michael Clemons).
