Biographical / Historical
Image Magazine published from 1977 to 1980. It featured profiles of African American residents of Athens and local churches and charts of the highest-selling records at Stovall's Records, located at 1086 W. Broad Street. Among the individuals profiled are Michael Thurmond, James Stovall (owner of Stovall's), high-school basketball coach James M. Crawford, karage chamption Lawrence "Night Train" Huff, and several local politicians and educators.
