Scope and Contents

One issue: Winter 1979. This issue notes on the cover that it is the “1st Anniversary Christmas Special,” and an advertisement within shows the covers of four other issues, suggesting that the publication at least lasted more than a year. Virtually nothing more is known about it, however, as it does not have a masthead. Ten pages (pp. 13-18 and pp. 41-44) have been ripped out of this copy.

Biographical / Historical

The magazine features short stories, recipes, travel articles, fashion photographs, and varied other pieces about celebrating Christmas. Of note for historical researchers are advertisements for the CertainTeed Corporation, Athens Florist, and the local Ramada Inn showing employees. There are also advertisements for First National Bank (showing its location in an historic home on Prince Avenue) and the History Village Inn and Conference Center (later the Foundry Park Inn and Spa and currently Graduate Athens).
