Scope and Contents
Many of the documents date from 1993. Some are undated. Dated May 15, 2022, the annual report includes information not only about the club’s activities during 2021 but also past activities as well as historical accounts from members.

Conditions Governing Access
This collection has no restrictions. This collection is open to the public. Library policy on photography and photocopying will apply. Advance notice may be required. Apply in the Heritage Room for access. The exception is the Order of the Eastern Star collection, the directories included in which list the personal addresses and phone numbers of members. These directories are not available to the public.
Biographical / Historical
The Athens Radio Club is the local organization for enthusiasts of ham radio. They participate in varied philanthropic efforts, among other tasks providing means of communication in emergency situations.
