Biographical / Historical

Built by Jeremiah Ayers before 1860, the Ayers-Little House began as two structures, a post office and a saloon, joined together. Ayers’ granddaughter, Martha Little, led efforts to get the house listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a goal finally attained after much work in 2008.
